In this role, you’ll be crucial in awarding scholarships, billing and collections, managing member and participant accounts, and processing program registrations.

What You’ll Do:

Billing and Collections: Manage billing and collections for Y programs and memberships through phone calls, emails, and letters.

Foster Equal Access: Process scholarship applications and provide discounts to eligible individuals across all Y programming.

Support Families: Connect families with specialists for state subsidy approval, update certificates, and apply financial assistance for childcare.

Collaborate Across Departments: Ensure smooth operations by accurately processing program registrations and maintaining up-to-date rosters.

Database Management: Maintain individual accounts using our organizational database, ensuring precise and current data for all members and program participants.

Create an Inclusive Environment: Deliver exceptional customer experiences and foster an engaging atmosphere for members, participants, and vendors.

Contribute to Growth: Provide administrative support, participate in meetings, and help develop policies to enhance the Y’s impact.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Skills: Effective communication and respectful interaction with diverse backgrounds and cultures. Professional attitude when working with state programs, members, participants, and colleagues.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Attitude: Positive, can-do attitude with a passion for strengthening the community.
