Job Description
The Industrial & Environmental (I&E) Product Manager serves as the instrument product expert supporting municipalities, chemical, petrochemical, food & beverage manufacturers, power plants, and other industrial facilities. Reporting to the Vertical Market Manager, the I& E Product Manager collaborates with sales, service, quality, manufacturing, and technology among others to promote adoption of the product(s), facilitate enhancements, provide training, execute competitive analysis, convey application knowledge, and generate marketing collateral. This role will collect, define, and prioritize product requirements for iterative, additive, and next generation products based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives to drive future product roadmaps. Ultimately, success in the role yields growth of the products across the product lifecycle.

- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, competitors, and market trends to inform product improvements and future development.
- Support escalated technical requests from sales, customers, and service using analytical data, critical thinking, and strong problem solving skills as the technical product expert.
- Support the success of onsite customer demonstrations with compelling presentations facilitating multi-unit deals.
- Drive the Application Review Process globally supporting the right selection of products and options as well as advocating for appropriate third party integration parts.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Science, Environmental or related field
- 3+ years engineer, applications engineer, sales engineer, service engineer, project management, or product management work experience within industry/process - refining, chemical industry, food & beverage, utilities, municipalities, industrial wastewater treatment, consulting engineering
- Hands on related experience with water quality testing instrumentation, troubleshooting, process environments, sampling, integration, and/or piloting would be a plus experience with analytical instrumentation in a process environment
- Knowledge of process analytical technologies in industrial environments
- Familiarity with water quality instrumentation
- Understanding of process monitoring needs
- Awareness of engineering procurement companies, consulting companies, and integrators
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate opportunities for a fit to products' value proposition and capabilities
- Strategic and independent thinker with a proven track record of synthesizing and interpreting issues into solutions
- Customer oriented, with the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements
- Resourceful to use tools, ideas, and best practices to solve problems through creative, out of the box thinking
- Demonstrated domain expertise of water treatment, chemical manufacturing processes, and online analytical instrumentation
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple audiences and levels across organizations through presentations, meetings, and on-site demonstrations

- Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually
