Job Title: Front Desk Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive first impression for our guests and maintaining efficient operations at the front desk. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests, handling inquiries and requests, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service at all times. The ideal candidate should be friendly, detail-oriented, dependable, and possess excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and anticipating the needs of guests
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and payment processing
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain a neat and tidy front desk area and ensure reception area is comfortable and welcoming
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and provide information on amenities and services available
- Assist in handling room reservations and updates in the property management system
- Keep track of room availability and make accurate recommendations for room assignments
- Provide guests with local area information, including restaurants, attractions, and transportation options
- Handle cash and credit card transactions in compliance with established procedures
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure clean and ready rooms are available for incoming guests
- Assist in the organization and execution of special events or functions
- Stay up-to-date on hotel procedures, policies, and promotions

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or related field are a plus
- Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office and property management systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Ability to handle difficult situations with calmness and professionalism
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in a second language is desirable but not required
