We are currently looking for a SCM/Logistics Intern to join our team in Smyrna, TN.
A Day in the Life:
- Utilize data analysis in conjunction with supply chain and logistics knowledge to create data models, evaluate simulations, perform cost studies, and develop strategies for the future.
- Interface with many supply chain functions with the opportunity learn more about each department supporting the manufacturing facilities.
- Take advantage of opportunities through structured amenities such as plant tours, networking with other interns, meeting with Nissan leadership, and job shadowing with other supply chain teams.
- Perform a Kaizen, or continuous improvement, initiative delivering a proposal and/or implementing a recommended improvement.
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Possess advanced level Excel skills including complex formulas and simple macros
- Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and Python is advantageous
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Ability to perform work onsite at Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant.
