Your responsibilities
Work with all traders/schedulers to assist with their day-to-day functional needs (deal entry, deal valuation, deal structuring etc.)
Assist in reporting process for Front Office across Natural Gas, power and Environmental (phys. balancing check, actualization, deal entry correction/amendment)
Valuate, book & validate non-standard transactions executed by all desks
Act as back up for scheduling for Natural Gas, Power & environmental products scheduling
Automate processes around trade capture system and commercial reporting
Develop and maintain Trading analytical tools and dashboards using Python, SQL, and PowerBI
Develop and implement trading KPIs
Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics and contribute to daily trading discussions and meetings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trade execution and daily operational efficiency (i.e. settlement differences, PnL discrepancies)
Participate in the development and testing of new trading strategies and initiatives.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, math or other quantitative field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and advanced excel skillset
Intermediate coding skills (python, SQL, Power BI) & Endur ETRM/CXL experience preferably
Work experience in a trading or financial analysis role in natural gas/power 2+yrs
Strong level of initiative, self-motivation, and entrepreneurial spirit
Detail orientation with strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask and integrate large amounts of complex information and focus on critical drivers
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster cross-functional relationships with customers and colleagues
