Accounts Receivable Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in the Gahanna area of Columbus to fill and accounts receivable need in business-to-business collections. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience along with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. This position is a 36-month contract and will pay between $20 and $25/hr. depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and ensure timely collections.
  • Contact business clients via phone, email, and letters to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment issues.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients to recover outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions with clients in the companys database.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to billing and payments.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the status of collections, outstanding debts, and recovery efforts to management.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address any issues that may impact collections.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of recent commercial collections experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time.
  • Ability to work in both independent and team environments.
