Job Requirements / Description

As a PL/SQL Developer, the candidate will be involved in creating and managing database objects such as tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, database links, and database access privileges. Utilized database tools such as SQL*Plus, Export & Import utility, Toad, and PL/SQL.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in your own area of expertise. May have a project lead role and/or supervise lower-level personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with languages like SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.
  • Strong working experience with Redhat Linux and Windows Servers.
  • Experience working with different Oracle database versions.
  • Software installation and maintenance.
  • Data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Database backup and recovery.
  • Security.
  • Capacity planning.
  • Performance monitoring.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field with outstanding skills and experience. State Government Experience and Election Domain Experience is a plus.
