JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Duties
Assemble property tax return documents and mail to jurisdictions.
Scanning and indexing of Property Tax invoices
Scanning and indexing of property tax notices of value
Use PTMS Software to assign Tax bills to collector accounts and assets, and generate payment files for Accounts Payable
Reaching out to taxing jurisdictions to obtain information on invoices including assessed values and payoff amounts.
Open and sort mail. Direct mail to appropriate party
Identifying items that need immediate attention and routing them appropriately.
Other support to the team as necessary
Required skills
Highly Organized, Attention to detail, ability to work independently, basic excel and data entry skills. Must be able to handle high volume of activity/transactions. Strong communication skills.
Required Background
High school diploma
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an office environment
Excel proficiency and Data Entry experience are required. Intermediate skills (Formulas, Vllokup) is highly desirable.
Experience in Accounting/Finance/Real Estate highly desired
Associates degree in business or finance a plus
