These efforts are supported by our iCARE values - inclusion, collaboration, agility, respect, and excellence - which guide our efforts to provide exceptional care to our students in a safe and welcoming environment.Job SummaryThe Health Promotion Coordinator will assist the Health Promotion team in furthering its mission by: implementing evidence-based initiatives to support the overall health and well-being of students; leading individual and group programs; evaluating the effectiveness of Student Wellness initiatives and reporting the results; developing effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to achieve a comprehensive response toward campus well-being; manage programs, initiatives and large-scale events implemented by the department; managing online event calendar and health education content.The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting systems-level campus wellbeing, a dedication to continuously deepening their own cultural awareness, and commitment to collaborating with students, staff and faculty to support this work.ResponsibilitiesAssists with planning, implementation, and evaluation of theory-based and evidence-informed health promotion strategies, policies, programs, and servicesSupports the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based health promotion strategies, policies, programs, and services based on campus needs and prioritiesFacilitates large and small group programs (BASICS, Mindfulness Meditation, Maroon Mental Health Matters, etc.)Assists with campus-wide initiatives, large-scale events (Wellapalooza) and campaignsPerforms both qualitative and quantitative data analysis and uses data to inform work of the departmentSets and communicates program priorities and performance standards and assesses operations using these criteria.Analyzes program budgets and recommends or makes budgetary recommendationsMaintains a collaborative relationship with appropriate departments and offices across campusCounsels individuals on the basic principles of good nutrition.
