Infinite Miles LLC is a locally-owned and operated business that's proud to be a part of Amazon Logistics' last mile delivery operations as a Delivery Service Partner (DSP).
We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant that will assist in the daily administrative functions of the Pickup & Delivery Business. Attention to detail, strong computer skills and people skills are paramount. This is a multifaceted role that will support our Owner/Chief HR Officer in areas of Recruitment, Onboarding, OSHA Safety and Injury Reporting, Time & Attendance Management, and Employee Engagement.
Core Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Leverage Fountain, Indeed, Social Media, Hiring Events, and other talent sourcing platforms to bring in qualified candidates for Delivery Associate
  • Interview candidates and make hiring determinations.
  • Administer Offer Letters, Pre-Employment Screening, and use the Applicant Tracking System (Fountain) to move candidates through the various stages of the hiring process.
  • Communicate with candidates daily throughout the process.
  • Manage Hiring Campaigns to attract talent during volume surges (such Prime & Peak Seasons).
  • Create driver profiles using the DSP Support Hub and communicate with driver's on the onboarding process - moving drivers quickly to the next stage.
  • Submit Drug Tests through the Quest online portal. Build relationships with Accurate Background, ADP, Quest, and DSP Onboarding Support to follow-up on onboarding issues and timing.
  • Ensure candidates are scheduled for Training and Orientation.
  • Facilitate Orientation virtually and/or in-person. Maintain the Orientation slide deck.
  • Input new drivers into ADP; create employee files using Google Drive. Add doctor's notes and other documents to files on-site.
  • Process I-9 verification in ADP within 3-days of the employee's start date.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team on start dates, Ride-Alongs, schedule restrictions etc.
  • Promote the Referral Program through ads and manage the Referral Program calendar to ensure funds are distributed to eligible employees.
  • Create files for each employee.
  • Aid in the HR Compliance audit.
  • Get existing employees set-up with DOT applications and steps to obtain certification.
OSHA Safety Management & Workers Compensation
  • Learn the GenSuite Benchmark platform and be the point of contact and sole administrator for logging workplace injuries.
  • Communicate with Leads and drivers to understand all details of the injury and complete the OSHA 300, 300a forms accurately and timely.
  • File worker's compensation claims using the company's insurance provider's portal.
  • Assist in workplace safety audits - readily providing reports and information as requested.
  • Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
  • Ensure all employees have completed the assigned KNET video, including Leadership.
Payroll Functions - Time & Attendance
  • Create new hire payroll records in ADP and track all new hire paperwork is completed (direct deposit, handbook signed, tax forms, etc.)
  • Track Clock-in/out for New Hires in Amazon Training. Input training hours and orientation hours, ensuring there are no missing punches (including DOT training).You must not make any manual changes to other associate timecards unless approved by Leadership. Manual edit should not exceed 20% within 1 week. Communicate with Owners as needed regarding timecard errors.
Additional Administrative Function:
  • Dispute driver score data in company systems (Cortex)
A qualifying candidate must:
  • 1 year administrative experience in a receptionist related role. Internships will be considered. Have 1+ years of consumer-facing experience with superior customer service skills
  • 3+ Months Experience with the delivery driver role at Infinite Miles, other Amazon DSP, or related delivery companies such as Fedex, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc. strongly preferred. Valid driver's license required.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, partner-centric and highly comfortable navigating through a wide range of situations in a fast-paced environment. An analytical approach to your work: you enjoy thinking through problems and identifying ways to improve processes
  • Alert, focused, and detail-oriented. Self-starter, who works well independently.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and technology (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, CRM, Payroll Management System) or similar software solutions
  • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful. High level of composure and good stress management.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 3 - 4 days per week; the days can vary based on recruitment volume, onboarding, and training. Shift: 6 - 8 hours daily. Hours will increase during surges (Prime in July and Peak: Nov and Dec)Typical Days Worked: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00A - 5P. Location: In-office with potential for hybrid after 90 days. Hybrid meaning a mix of in-office and remote.
