Job Title: CNC Programmer/MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can program from print to part. This position requires the individual to program, set up, and operate CNC Lathes and Mills. Although there are only 2-3 new programs to write each year, this role is hands-on, with 90% of the work performed on Twin Turret, LT Okuma Lathes making camshafts. Responsibilities include trialing programs and making necessary edits, maintaining fixtures and tooling, performing preventative maintenance on machines, and supervising other machinists in the future.ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC Lathes and Mills.Perform trial runs of programs and make necessary edits.Maintain fixtures and tooling.Perform preventative maintenance on machines.Supervise other machinists as needed.Essential Skills5-10 years of recent experience using CNC lathes to perform machining.2 years of experience programming using conversational codes.Willingness to run own machines and work on the shop floor.Ability to pass a drugAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas/Okuma Mill and Okuma LT25.Experience with twin spindle and G & M code programming from scratch.Experience with 3-5 axis machining.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to precision manufacturing. The facility is divided into assembly and stock areas, with the other half dedicated to machining operations. The environment includes about 10 CNC machines and 1 robot for loading machines and performing quality checks. A CMM Room is available for micron and precision quality checks.
