A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Jefferson, Iowa.
The position involves an annual volume of 4,000 patients or 8-10 patients per day. Candidates must have experience in both Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient care. Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (EM) is required, along with active ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. Shifts are 24 hours, from 7 AM to 7 AM. A minimum of 2 years of EM experience is required, as well as an active Iowa license and DEA. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage will be provided, and there will be single MD coverage.
