Lead Machinist

Employment Solutions is partnering with an established company to hire a Machining Supervisor to work onsitein Endicott, NY. This is a direct hire position with full benefits!

We are looking for a Machining Supervisor to oversee machining operations. In this position, you will ensure that machine processes are conducted efficiently, safely, and to high quality standards.

Pay range: $60K-70K

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading and supervising a team of machinists and machine operators, coordinating production schedules, monitoring machine performance, and enforcing safety protocols.
• Working with machinists to optimize productivity, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and achieve production goals.
• Collaborate with other departments such as production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and materials management (PC) to ensure smooth operations and meet customer requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent, college education in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or business administration. a plus
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing or production
• Supervisory or leadership work experience
• Strong understanding of machining processes, procedures . Machines include, CNCs, Lathes, Mills
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for employees. The ability to enforce safety standards, conduct safety training, and respond to safety incidents
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems (e.g., ERP, MES) for production planning, scheduling, reporting, and data analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain, to achieve common goals and resolve issues.
