Must-Have: Must work either Christmas or Thanksgiving and New Year's; COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Job Description:
- Assist the team in patient setup and preparation before procedures, and handle takedown/cleanup post-procedure using safe patient transfer and positioning techniques.
- Document in the procedure log to reflect accurate procedures and interventions to ensure precise billing and charge capture.
- Operate radiographic fluoroscopy equipment to obtain diagnostic images of coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease.
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring of patients during procedures and report values to the performing physician.
- Monitor radiation dose delivery to patients to ensure safe administration with minimal exposure to staff.
- Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images in picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
- Perform quality control standards by using optimal diagnostic imaging and performing regular maintenance of fluoroscopy equipment.
- Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and customizing the explanation of services or procedures to be performed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Night and weekend on-call required, with 9-11 on-call shifts per month.
