An AmLaw 50 international law firm is seeking mid-level Real Estate Associates for its Chicago office. The role requires candidates with 4-6 years of experience , particularly in areas of real estate financing, lender representation, co-lender/intercreditor agreements, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS ).

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Must be bar certified in Illinois.
  • 4-6 years of experience in real estate law , with a focus on financing, lender representation, and CMBS .
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal expertise in real estate financing and lender representation .
  • Engage in drafting and negotiating co-lender and intercreditor agreements .
  • Handle legal aspects of commercial mortgage-backed securities .
  • Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys on complex real estate transactions.
