Our one-stop app gives students the tools that they need to make their fundraisers a success!This 4-5 billion dollar industry has been severely underrepresented in tech, and the market reception since our launch has been overwhelming. With over 50 years of combined fundraising experience on the executive team, MoneyDolly has found product-market fit and is looking for the development team to make it into a reality.
We are looking for a highly-motivated Senior Backend or Fullstack Engineer to join our remote team as a Team Lead. We have a high degree of trust with all of our team members, and are looking for someone who thrives in an environment of high autonomy. Someone who is looking to be a core member of our development team; defining and shaping it as we grow to keep up with our rapidly growing user base.

- Enjoy leading a small group (2-3) of motivated engineers to release high quality software directly to users
- Enjoy diving into multiple areas of the stack (and picking things up quickly as you go), with a focus on the backend (Java Spring Boot, AWS, React, Flutter)
- Like turning ideas into finished products, for both internal and external use. Backend? Front-end? Infrastructure? You’re ready to dive all-in
- Want to own those new products! As an early hire, you’ll be helping define our engineering culture and will work directly with your peers and C-Suite team to tune the engineering machine
- Thrive when given a lot of autonomy to meet your goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience on the backend (Spring Boot preferred)
- 1+ years of Team Lead experience
- Familiarity with SQL / Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL)
- Proven experience with infrastructure / DevOps (AWS and Terraform preferred)
- Great communication skills
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently while coordinating with other team members
Preferred
- Proven experience with front-end technologies (React, Flutter preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required. Tell us your story!
