Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Administrator for the University Ethics and Compliance department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Provides technical and administrative support to the OPRA Administrator/Ethics Training Officer related to University ethics, training, public records, and communications.
- Reviews and prepares responses for OPRA requests.
- Administrates departmental systems and providing support to faculty and staff.
- Prepares and distributes compliance reports to key leadership throughout the University.
- Ensures accountability to preserve Rutgers' reputation as one of the finest research universities in the United States.
- Makes ethical choices at all levels.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expertise managing cloud based systems.
- Experience handling public records requests and/ or conflict of interest.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn software independently.
- J.D. or equivalent advanced degree.
- Data analytics experience.
- Instructional design experience.
- Website editing experience.
- Basic office equipment.
- Hybrid office environment.
- Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing.
- No special vision requirements.
- Ability to lift or exert force up to ten (10) pounds.
