KEY RESULTS AREA
TALENT ACQUISITION
- Support the Avenues team when required by the school on difficult to hire roles (Math/Science teachers) as well as on middle level leadership roles.
- Responsible to align Avenues Campuses Employer branding elements to attract best candidates.
- Ensure the most effective and efficient systems for high quality recruitment are implemented.
- Manage relationships and budget for commonly aligned recruiting systems - ensure consolidation/alignment and training of systems and tools used to enhance the Avenues schools recruiting process (Sparkhire, LinkedIn etc.).
- Follow Avenues talent acquisition methodology and process and ensure high quality documentation.
- Support drive cross campus recruitment.
Regional Team
- Establish and align job descriptions, scorecards and processes (marketing of position and branding, investments, interviewers and alignment on job req and postings).
- Post all positions in Success Factors.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the process and ensure adequate documentation in Success Factors.
- Perform first screening against scorecard and coordinate interviews.
- Follow up with candidates.
- Support in establishing and coordinating feedback of individual or panel interviews to drive high quality process for candidates and organization - attracting best candidate for position at the end.
- Negotiate final offer and coordinate with HR regional team to submit offer and start onboarding.
The Americas Schools
- Serve as the point of contact for any fairs and recruiting event OTOS (Outstanding Teachers for Outstanding Schools) and expanding fairs into US.
- Build with the schools a high quality pipeline and processes to ensure high quality recruitment in SLT.
- For SLT positions only establish a common approach to SLT evaluation and hiring processes including: Director of HR, Finance, Admissions and Marketing and other academic positions at SLT.
- Create scorecards for equitable documentation and assessment of candidates.
- Support global recruiting team in establishing principal recruitment panels and process.
- Drive recruitment process for SLT positions.
DATA AND SYSTEMS
- Review useful and up to date reports using the ATS weekly to Head of HR Americas and propose improvement actions to impact time to fill and quality of hire process.
- Ensure all data and compliance information is properly documented in the system to be able to make analytical decisions.
- Support newly acquired schools to be incorporated into our Talent acquisition ATS processes and data overview.
- Consolidate data for recruitment to present to Regional HRD on a weekly basis.
- Support integration of new schools into Success Factors recruiting tools (after Success Factors HRIS integration).
OTHER
- Manage recruiting agreements and performance of such vendors.
- Oversight of recruitment budget and ensure expenses are aligned with budget.
- Support with adequate employee branding strategies including ensuring proper follow up of candidate feedback tools, i.e., Glassdoor - in alignment with marketing and Head of HR Americas.
- Align with global HR to drive an amazing candidate experience for every role and support improvements in processes and systems.
Personal Specifications
- Highly organized and proactive.
- Experienced with a high volume of highly qualified roles - showing creativity.
- Experience and ability to close difficult to hire positions in a short period of time.
- Genuine interest in recruitment and talent acquisition (with some experience).
- Confident working at pace.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
- Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
- Results-oriented with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
- You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector.
- Preferred bilingual English/Spanish (preferred Portuguese).
