The Foods Operational FP&A Manager will deliver timely and accurate reports and analytics in support of Manufacturing Operations, Engineering and Finance. These supportive tasks will include providing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc Operational reports and analysis for both Harvest and Further Processing operations. In addition, the manager will assist with the preparation of Internal Rates of Return for Manufacturing Capital Expenditure Requests. The position will also provide support to the Whole Bird Analytics/Profit Team as a point of contact for manufacturing related information and can be involved in special projects as needed. Identify and explain key variances.Provide timely and accurate support to the Manufacturing team for Capital Expenditure Requests as well as the annual budgeting process.Support the tracking of financial performance for key strategic manufacturing initiatives and projects, utilizing existing tools and developing new tools.Assist the Accounting and Finance Organization in streamlining and automating existing reports using PowerBI and other reporting tools.Develop a thorough understanding of Plant production Operations in order to help validate assumptions and offer insight to results and process improvement opportunities.Complete ad hoc report generation and special projects as requested.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree (preferably Accounting / Finance) with 7+ years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations. Our ideal candidate will have:Working knowledge of financial and accounting principles. Display strong analytical aptitude, desire to deal with ambiguity, synthesize complex data and draw business insights.Ability to identify patterns from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive analyses.Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects.A detail-oriented approach, must pay close attention to details and error check own work. Ability to work independently.Trustworthy with confidential information. Reliability (attendance and timeliness) important to ensure execution of deliverables.Experience PreferredCustomer service mindset and ability to work with internal “clients” around the company. Ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities with a focus on delivering results. Strong Microsoft Office skills as well as the ability to learn software applications (i.e. SAP and Hyperion Essbase).
