Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and analyze mechanical systems.
2. Conduct research to produce design specifications for machinery and systems.
3. Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs and concepts.
4. Oversee and coordinate activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, and installation of mechanical components.
5. Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies, or details.
6. Review architectural plans and blueprints to ensure they meet necessary design standards.
7. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project completion within the stipulated timeline.
8. Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for simulation and design purposes.
9. Provide technical advice to the project team, addressing design and production issues.
10. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP and/or Structural design
3. Proficiency in using Revit.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, material properties, and/or structural design.
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
6. Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders efficiently.
7. Excellent communication and project management skills.
8. Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
9. Strong attention to detail with the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects.
10. Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials principles is a plus.
