Taxfyle and RMW Accounting, subsidiaries of Tickmark, Inc. oversee multiple tax and public accounting firms across the US. The RMW Accounting division is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Manager to join our team on a full-time basis out of our Coconut Grove, FL office location. With a reputation for integrity and excellence, we serve a diverse client base, offering a range of tax, payroll, accounting, and consulting services. We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead our HR department that oversees these firms and drive RMW Accounting’s growth. Proven experience as an HR Manager in an accounting or law firm is a plus.

Overview:

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the company remains compliant with regulations while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding, payroll, to employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals.
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a healthy work culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including eligibility and enrollment.
  • Handle performance management processes, including evaluations and improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including maintaining and updating company policies and the employee handbook.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee time-off policies.
  • Responsible for accurately processing the organization’s payroll in a timely manner.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee performance.
  • Manage internal communications and foster employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to support organizational goals and advise on HR-related matters.
  • Handle offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and separation documentation.
  • Maintain HR systems and records for payroll, benefits, and personnel.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related matters within the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 2-4 years of HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS software, including payroll processing. Experience with PrismHR HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working in a smaller company is preferred, where multi-tasking across HR functions is necessary.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
