Summary Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to search for a Drafter II to work on a 1-year contract (with the possibility of extension) in Ponca City, OK. Job Responsibilities The role involves general AutoCAD work for the Design Team and is responsible for incorporating redlines (Schematics & P&IDs) from Designers in AutoCAD, as well as from MOCs to support Document Control. Typical working hours are 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime .
- Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices
- Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
- Must be able to perform field walk downs
- Set up CAD environment including libraries and layers
- Use Ponca City Refinery's design standards and project procedures to create project drawings including the following but not limited to:
- Schematics / Isometrics
- P&IDs
- Building layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/pipe routing
- Pipe schedules
- Installation Details
- Bill of Materials
- 1-5 years of experience in Drafting
- Worked in a similar capacity
- AutoCAD
- Basic computer/PC skills
- Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to function as part of a project team
- Able to interact and work with a diverse work group (Mechanical and/or I&E Designers, Engineers, Contractors)
- Basic knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Symbology
- Worked in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
- Experience using Falcon
- Experience in SAP
- Associate Degree in Design, Drafting or Engineer Tech
