Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!Why you'll love this jobThis job is a member of the Talent Team within the recruiting division of the People Organization.Responsible for delivering the best talent with the right combination of skills and experience to drive organizational impact.What you'll doPartners with hiring manager for identified business functions to understand and prioritize job opening requirements, and influences staffing decisions to support business needsEngages with the hiring manager and facilitates any assessment process with the hiring manager by conducting thorough intake sessions, clarifying staffing needs and responsibilities, and ensuring job descriptions reflect accurate knowledge, skills, and abilitiesProvides guidance and influence to business leaders to ensure the right people are hired for the right positions at the right timeManages positive internal and external applicant experience throughout the recruitment processInfluences overall hiring process to achieve timeliness and agreementsFacilitates understanding of offer components to gain offer acceptance from the applicantResponds to talent acquisition needs and inquiries from business leaders, hiring managers, TA leadership, etc.Provides hiring manager accurate and timely update on applicant activity, tracks talent acquisition metrics and reports trends and issues to leadership, providing recommendations for improvementMaintains up-to-date applicant records in the applicant tracking system for accurate reporting and analysisAdministration of college and internal recruiting programs including info sessions, assessments, interview coordination, consulting and assisting employees regarding on-boarding processMaintains strong cross functional partnerships with business, hiring managers and other talent acquisition functionsProvides leadership and mentoring to other recruiters on the teamManages specialty talent acquisition projects relative to the supported business unitsAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training2 years of relevant work experience1 year of analysis or reporting experiencePreferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job ExperienceProject Management experienceSuperior time management, organization skills with ability to prioritize, and manage tasks effectively without direct supervisionSkills, Licenses & CertificationsExcellent relationship management skills, ability to establish credibility, and partner with leaders to identify talent gaps, needs, risk and plans for actionsAbility to demonstrate a strong customer orientation and influencing skillsKnowledge of employment law, corporate recruitment practicesAbility to leadKnowledge of competency-based interviews and assessment techniquesAbility to think strategically; creative and innovative thinking skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgmentKnowledge of workforce planning (forecast, identify specific needs, skills, locations, and behaviors)Knowledge of SuccessFactors or other large enterprise ATS systemsWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
