Mechanical/Piping Designer

Overview

Location: Onsite in Canonsburg, PA

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Work Authorization: U.S.Citizen or Green Card

A.C. Coy is currently seeking candidates for a Mechanical/Piping Designer role. Our ideal candidate will be available immediately to jump in on several high-profile projects with a focus on layout and design for industrial water purification systems, plus design documentation and Bills of Material.

Located 20 minutes South of Downtown Pittsburgh, this company offers a modern, friendly, and relaxed work environment, free parking, and a collaborative team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design drawings for piping, skid and support design based upon process data
• Provide AutoCAD assistance for various departments
• Produce 3D CAD, General Arrangement and Piping Plans and Sections 

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience with mechanical and piping designs and P&ID preparation
• Ability to use AutoCAD at a high level of proficiency
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Access

Preferred:

• 3D Design experience preferred. If not, full training may be provided on Auto-Plant Piping, Structural and Navisworks Jetstream (For 3D plant reviews)
