Some Of Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

We are searching for a Hypersonic Research and Systems Engineer Sr. to join our excellent team. In this role, you will participate in the iterative process of developing new technologies for hypersonic platforms, assessing their impact to mission performance, and investigating resulting system design optimization. You will be working closely with engineering teams spanning microelectronics, sensors, materials, manufacturing, modelling and simulation to accomplish these goals.

  1. Communicating with stakeholders across the LM Business Areas and Corporate Office
  2. Building external Customer relationships and shaping contract opportunities
  3. Leading small technical teams on multidisciplinary design analysis and optimization
  4. Defining value propositions and hypothesis testing for R&D initiatives
  5. Formulating requirements for next-generation hypersonic mission needs

You Will Typically Have

  1. 5+ years of professional experience (post-graduate research can be included).
  2. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and thus US Citizenship is required.
  3. B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

This role will require occasional travel and the selected candidate should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
