Senior Project Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

· Partner with Program Leadership and Departments to maintain solid client relationships through accurate project billing, reconciling and reporting

· Ensure proper accounting based on various production contracts including QC of monthly billings for accuracy

· Ensure proper accounting for WIP items

· Lead the monthly reconciliation process on all media project campaigns

· Ensure project data reconciles to General Ledger

· Ensure all AR and AP research is timely and accurate

· Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly budgeting and forecasting

· Assist with month end close as needed

· Manage client and year end audits

· Manage project setup in the various systems

· Drive process improvements to facilitate department efficiency and manage the workflow of staff to ensure efficient, timely and productive output

· Analyze efficiencies on commission based project clients

· Provide leadership and coaching to team members in support of individual employee professional goals

· Maintain proper internal controls and accounting policies in compliance with GAAP

· Assist in ad hoc accounting projects as needed

· Proactively seek value added improvements to company processes and bottom line

· Communicate work flow status which includes briefing management on the status of any outstanding issues, problems and/or concerns within the department

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of 5-7 years general accounting and 2-3 years management experience including strong reconciliation skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

· Knowledge and thorough understanding of US GAAP

· Strong business acumen and logical problem solver

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people

· Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills

· Strong proficiency in Word, Outlook and advanced level Excel skills

· Preferred – CPA

· Preferred – Solomon and/or PRISM experience
