The Company is one of the largest producers of folding cartons and holds a leading market position in coated-unbleached Kraft board and coated-recycled board. One of its facilities is currently seeking an experienced Safety Training Coordinator for the Fort Smith, AR plant that is part of the Consumer Products DivisionSafety Training CoordinatorShift is 8-hour days – 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Monday - FridayShift includes holidays and occasional overtime.We are a Tobacco Free Facility inside and outside for 8-hour shift.Position PurposeThe Safety Training Coordinator helps improve the overall safety of the plant. Their duties include accessing progressive training for promotions, annual reviews, new hires, and temporary associates.Job FunctionsTraining: developing and presenting safety training sessions for employees as needed and requiredSafety Planning: creating and maintaining safety protocols and programs.Record Keeping: Maintaining records and reporting on safety and training activities.Policy Development: developing or modifying procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.Consistent check-ins with employees during progressive trainingWeekly report out in management morning meetingsLead Plant wide training.Forklift and Boom Lift – Train the TrainerNew Hire Orientation: Safety PortionOnline Pure Safety program maintenance – Safety, CI, and HRReview, create, and evolve materials to develop processes.Annually review training processes and procedures with Department ManagersJob SpecificationsPrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not required.Skills - Mechanical, communication, computer literate.Able to use SAP, Pure Safety, and Microsoft Office systems is a plus.Abilities- Good attendance, guide teams and processes, and ability to work alone.Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
