Job Overview

Deutsche Bank AG is looking for a senior Cyber Security professional to support the Bank's global Incident Response capabilities. This role requires a heavy focus on all areas of Incident Management lifecycle process. The professional will provide oversight of various security incident investigations, including the investigation of suspicious or malicious Information Technology (IT) activity targeting the critical network infrastructure, applications, users, and clients. Specifically, this professional will be a member of the Security Incident Management (SIM) team and participate in the process, KPIs, and deep-level investigations. The chosen professional will be required to provide a degree of strategic, tactical, and day-to-day operational experience to enhance the overall incident monitoring, detection, triage, and mitigation process. Excellent soft skills and verbal communications are essential for dealing with senior executive management, customers, clients, and third-party vendors.

What You'll Do

  1. Investigate security events and incidents in a timely manner ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are compliant.
  2. Analyse, ticket, document, and report Security Incidents in a comprehensive, risk-driven manner.
  3. Track ticket progression and escalation across all functional areas of responsibility while providing risk and threat assessments in a timely manner.
  4. Quickly evaluate and adapt new work processes and procedures and risk-driven measures ensuring consistent workflows.
  5. Support Security Incident remediation and mitigation.
  6. Investigate cyber security policy violations with interviews and incident management calls while sharing relevant information and knowledge with the global team.
  7. Prepare and proof monthly functional and operational reports as well as perform operational tasks surrounding Incident Handling.

Skills You'll Need

  1. Relevant Security Experience (technical role in a security domain in particular Networking, Operating System Security or Security Incident Response) and understanding of SIEM operations.
  2. Good understanding of security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, A/V, and Proxies.
  3. Solid experience working with Internet and network technologies; specifically, Traded Credit Positions (TCP)/IP, UDP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, and File-Transfer-Protocol (FTP).
  4. Fundamentals of Application Security, investigating security alerts, analysis, handling, documentation, risk analysis, and threat assessments.
  5. Experience in Service Definition, Service Level Management, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $111,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
