Due to an internal promotion, we seek to add an HR Generalist to our Global HR team for a position based on-site at our Global Headquarters in Waltham, MA.

The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting with the overall development and delivery of HR programs and services designed to meet the needs of the company. This role will also perform administrative tasks related to onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and training.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Interacting with employees to ensure that HR is fully accessible to the organization.
  • Implementing new hire orientation and managing all tasks related to onboarding of new employees in North America.
  • Executing employee life cycle changes in accordance with Netcracker systems and processes.
  • Leveraging people data analytics to assist HR Business Partners with business solutions.
  • Serving as secondary contact for client groups and understanding business challenges of client groups.
  • Working effectively to use influence, teamwork, and customer service skills to align business needs with HR support and solutions within all levels of the organization.
  • Utilizing knowledge and experience in HR disciplines such as employee relations, conflict resolution, relocations, training, and organizational development.
  • Serving as support contact for immigration cases, including handling of North America and global immigration cases.
  • Creating an effective employee relations environment that enables Netcracker to achieve its business objectives, build employee commitment, and minimize external influence.
  • Ensuring that all HR programs and processes are executed in a manner consistent with policies, procedures, and all global employment laws.
  • Identifying key business issues along with related people, organizational, and cultural implications.
  • Managing HR projects and programs as required by the HR Business Partners to ensure that processes are created and continuously developed to meet overall business requirements and objectives.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HR required, preferably in multi-site/multi-state environments.
  • Working knowledge of HR related laws/regulations.

Skills:

  • Advanced computer literacy with specific proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated practical, hands-on, “can-do” approach, and the ability to work efficiently and creatively.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in more than one area of human resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze various types of data information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
