Our client, a real estate investment firm, is looking to hire a Development Accountant. The company has been committed to creating customized solutions to allow their clients to achieve their real estate goals.

Responsibilities

• All day-to-day accounting needs and active development projects of the company
• Provide detail and assist in the preparation of Development Project Financial Modeling/Forecasting, Annual Development company budgeting, and Quarterly Project Budget Reforecasting
• Thorough understanding of all construction contracts, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, loan documents, and other relevant legal documents
• Assist the Financial Controller with other accounting duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• 3-5 Years of Development Accounting experience
• CPA or public accounting experience preferred
