**Job Description:**
- Required to work every other weekend
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Admission Criteria (InterQual)
- Drug/Alcohol Abuse Treatment Options
- Patients experiencing homelessness
- Patients with mental health history or in crisis
- Advance directives and POLST
- Adoption/Foster care processes
- Organizing and participating in family meetings
- Experience with HMOs and IPAs
- Arranging DME, SNF, and ambulance transport independently
- Participating in the development of treatment plans
- Protective services process
- Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours
- Completes required modules pre-start and annually, with time spent being self-reported and recorded
- If communication devices are required, they will be provided or compensated
