Addison Group is hiring an Employee Relations Specialist for our client, a nonprofit organization in the behavioral healthcare industry. With a rapidly growing team, the organization aims to be a leading employer in the sector. They recently received significant funding and are expanding their workforce, with plans to add over 100 employees in the next year.

Job Description:

This newly created Employee Relations Specialist role, made possible by recent grant funding, is crucial to the organization’s efforts in improving employee satisfaction and process optimization. You will work closely with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture, manage sensitive employee issues, and develop employee recognition programs. The position is a hybrid role with two days onsite and hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal Process Management:
    • Analyze internal workflows and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
    • Monitor ongoing processes and suggest necessary adjustments.
  • Sensitive Correction:
    • Address discrepancies in workflows with discretion and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Employee Recognition:
    • Create and oversee programs recognizing staff contributions, enhancing team morale and engagement.
  • Staff Appreciation:
    • Develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction and organize appreciation events that build community.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of employee relations experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Nonprofit sector experience is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working with diverse communities.

Additional Details:

  • Hybrid role (2 days onsite) with hands-on training.
  • Street parking available; parking lot reserved for clinical staff.
  • 4-6 month contract.
