Responsibilities
Full Time Medical Assistant needed for busy Family Practice provider in south Oklahoma City
Responsibilities
- Room patients, record vital signs, obtain health histories, symptoms and concerns while preparing patient to be seen by physician
- Triage patient calls with test results
- Assist physician with treatments, medication refills and administer injections
- Keep exam rooms cleaned/restocked
- Prior authorizations, enter and follow up on referrals and enter patient information into EHR
- Must be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities while working well in a team environment and exhibiting a strong work ethic
- No weekends or major holidays

- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Experience in a family practice clinic a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA) preferred but not required
- Must be a team player, dependable and flexible
- Must be able to keep operations and work flor organized in fast paced environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to take initiative
