Full Time Medical Assistant needed for busy Family Practice provider in south Oklahoma City
Responsibilities
  • Room patients, record vital signs, obtain health histories, symptoms and concerns while preparing patient to be seen by physician
  • Triage patient calls with test results
  • Assist physician with treatments, medication refills and administer injections
  • Keep exam rooms cleaned/restocked
  • Prior authorizations, enter and follow up on referrals and enter patient information into EHR
  • Must be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities while working well in a team environment and exhibiting a strong work ethic
  • No weekends or major holidays

Requirements
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred
  • Experience in a family practice clinic a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Medical Assistant certification (CMA) preferred but not required
  • Must be a team player, dependable and flexible
  • Must be able to keep operations and work flor organized in fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to take initiative
