Guardian Angel Senior Services is currently looking for a strong multi-tasker with excellent communication and organization skills to take on the role of Controller. The Controller will be an integral part of the management team working closely with the owners and senior management staff. The Controller provides superior customer service through written and verbal communication while performing job duties that may include changing priorities and short deadlines. This candidate should have strong administrative proficiency consisting of attention to detail, a sense of responsibility and initiative, computer proficiency, and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities and desired skills include:
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); manage and oversee the billing department of the organization by working and improving the existing electronic medical record system(s)/private billing systems to meet billing for all service lines now and in the future;
- Working in concert with the Regional Directors of Operations Oversee all payroll systems and functions for accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare all supporting information and internal financial statements for the outside Accountant
- Establish/maintain procedures to ensure proper internal controls are in place to effectively mitigate risks
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll; Administrative expense payables/budget activities
- Reconcile bank accounts and manage cash flow Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Manage the bookkeeping functions
- Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure Assist with reviewing vendor contracts Part of the Leadership Team of the company- keeping team members abreast of the current financial health of the company and involved in strategic growth discussions
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work flow with the aptitude of working well in a collaborative environment with coworkers
- Assist or lead other related Fiscal projects as assigned
Job Type: Full-time Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/MHA, Looking for seasoned accounting/financial manager with a strong background in management, Prefer 4+ years of Homecare billing experience, 2+ years Homecare experience, or related service industry. Knowledge of state and federal Homecare regulations Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication Valid driver's license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation Advanced working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Knowledge of Generations Homecare Software preferred Knowledge of Payroll Systems; I Solved HCM Platform preferred
