This position supports our Final Mile Home Delivery business, managing big and bulky home delivery and installation through our service provider network. You will oversee the property damage claim process, including timely acknowledgments, investigation, and insurance reporting. Additionally, you will handle settlement negotiations, finalizing claims, and closing cases in our claims management system
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Monitor new assignments in the medium in which our customer provides them, contacting new receipts directly assigned to you within 24 hours.
Serve as the local liaison between claimants and our service providers, keeping the claimant informed every step of the way and working to drive claim conclusion with 30 days.
Create and maintain claim file in accordance with company best practices and audit requirements.
Assist legal teams globally gather internal and external information and documentation for defense purposes on lawsuits and/or other legal proceedings.
Create, formulate, and manage SOPs related to the processes/procedures of CA's specific job responsibilities with guidance by its direct manager.
Offer support and assistance to other senior members in NAM Regional Claims Hub when necessary, by processing claim settlement payments, vendor invoices, and other ad hoc projects or other job-related duties as required.
Mitigate liability exposure by providing root cause analysis and help establish preventative measures and/or changes in processes/policies when warranted.
Perform other job-related duties.

Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3-5 years' experience desired
* Customer service experience preferred
* Insurance/construction background a plus
Technical Skills and Competencies
* Good understanding of the Maritime, Logistics, and/or Transportation industry
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
* Ability to communicate efficiently, quickly and provide precise details
* Organizational and time management skills - multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high-level goals
* Good influencing, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

$60,000 to $70,000

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
