Hawthorn Children's Psychiatric Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)/Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Intake Department. The LPC/LCSW is a member of the Social Services Department who reports to the Director of Intake/Utilization Review and completes intake assessments for potential consumers referred to the acute Inpatient Program and Residential Program. Candidates must have a desire to develop or utilize clinical skills, help youth and families in Crisis, motivated to be a part of a larger multidisciplinary team and passionate about mental health issues that affect youth in Missouri.

This is accomplished by following the Foundation of Sanctuary - The Four Pillars of (1) Trauma Theory, (2) Seven Commitments, (3) S.E.L.F. (Safety, Emotion, Loss, and Future), (4) Sanctuary Tool Kit.
