Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator in the Design Studio is responsible for coordinating and assigning daily tasks to the team, conducting briefings, setting up events, assisting the Design Sales Manager, preparing the studio for events, overseeing inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in event production or coordination
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in using digital cameras and inventory management systems
Responsibilities:
- Assign daily tasks to the production team and ensure timely completion
- Conduct daily briefings to review schedules, goals, and event standards
- Assist in physically setting up events and ensuring all necessary items are ready
- Support the Design Sales Manager in prototyping tasks
- Prepare the studio for daily events by organizing equipment and materials
- Oversee inventory management and quality control of production equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio and production shop
- Coordinate the receipt and return of rental linen and equipment
- Capture photos of events for future reference and marketing purposes
- Familiarize with inventory systems and ensure accurate records are kept.
