The Sales Director plays a major strategic role in boosting CRM solutions sales. He/She is tasked with implementing sales strategies that further the sales agenda and drive enhanced revenue generation for the business. The Sales Director delivers an optimized market mix relative to core target consumers and identifies the roadmap that will lead to achieving sales goals as well as the overall goals of the business.

The Sales Director identifies areas of improvement in sales strategies to establish actionable insights for improving sales and business profits.

Knowledge/Relationships/Opportunity:

The Sales Director is also tasked with managing key relationships on behalf of the business. He/She builds strong relationships with external partners and consumers, regularly interacting with them by attending sales workshops, seminars, and hosting events for the business’s products, while playing an active role in industry organizations.

Conversion from pipeline to actual deals: the Sales Director needs to be hands-on and work on details including customer interface, business proposal initiatives, and underwriting of EBITDA for each deal; along with the identified KPIs, he/she needs to ensure the actual delivery of revenue is collected.

These efforts establish the business as a market and thought leader and open avenues for identifying potential opportunities for sales and revenue generation. In this capacity, the Sales Director also conducts regular research on the latest market best practices and trends to keep the business at par or ahead of competitors, driving greater sales and securing a larger market share.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  2. Experience: At least 10 years of working experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, preferably in the position of a Senior Sales Manager.
  3. The candidate must have a proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth in enhanced sales volumes and revenue generation, while displaying exceptional leadership skills and confidence.
  4. A suitable candidate will also have experience evaluating product/market situations and analyzing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches.
  5. Communication Skills: Must possess exceptional communication skills that are important for effective interaction with consumers and external partners.
  6. Interpersonal Skills: Will possess interpersonal skills that encourage openness and trust both internally and externally.
  7. He/She will be self-motivated, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable to business growth fluctuations, work comfortably in group settings, be persuasive and charismatic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work well under pressure.
