- Reviews the accuracy of Purchasing Card (P-Card) transaction allocations and all supporting documentation.
- Ensures compliance with Seminole County's P-Card Administrative Code and County Manager's P-Card Policy.
- Ensures financial transactions are charged to the proper departmental business units/costcenters.
- Determines the accuracy of invoices and eligibility for payment, when applicable.
- Performs pre-audit functionsof supplier/vendor invoices; verifies prices based on approved contracts, when applicable.
- Completes payment by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices, when applicable.
- Inputs and posts various accounting and financialtransactions, when applicable.
- Reviews and posts journal entry adjustments, when applicable.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature/level.
Typical Qualifications
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
- Required experience: minimum 2 years with bookkeeping or accounting experience, including Accounts Payable or accounts receivable experience
- HighSchoolDiplomaorHighSchoolEquivalencyCertificate(G.E.D.)
- One year of clerical experience.
- Valid Florida Driver's license.
