Senior Trademark Attorney

Our client is a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeking a professional track/staff trademark associate for its Advertising & Brand Protection ​practice group in Irvine, New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC. This is a non-partner track attorney position. The salary for this role is between $170,000 to $220,000.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience (10+ years is preferred) in domestic and international trademark prosecution and trademark portfolio management.
• Experience reviewing trademark search reports, preparing trademark clearance opinions, and monitoring trademark watch notices.
• Experience with trademark enforcement, including prepare cease-and-desist letters, and handling TTAB oppositions and cancellation actions.
• Experience managing international trademark matters and communicating with foreign trademark practitioners.
• Trademark licensing experience and due diligence projects.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bar admission in jurisdiction of practice is required.
