Contract Specialist

MDB Group is seeking to fill a Contract Specialist to support US Special Operations Command in Fort Belvoir, VA . We are a Small Business Administration Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in Lorton, Virginia. MDB Group provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of Defense. We currently have team members supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs (G-8) Force Development (FD) Directorates; the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology): and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Intelligence & Security. We are honored to have been awarded our third consecutive Army G8 Force Development contract.
Full Job Description

• Position: Contract Specialist
• Location: Fort Belvoir, VA. (On-site)
• Position Type: Contract position
• Clearance: TS/SCI

Responsibilities:

• Perform non-IGF cradle-to-grave acquisition tasks in support of contracting actions. Review and process customer-submitted Procurement Request (PR) packages for contract execution.
• Draft all required contractual documentation to prepare a contract action for KO review and award. Perform contract pre-award and post-award functions in PD2.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 year's experience to a warranted contract specialist or Contracting Officer.
• Experience writing contracts in the SPS/PD database. Experience in all types of contracts and military funding.
• Experience in CPARS and SAM.gov.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint 2010 or higher.
• Level II DAWIA contracting Certification
