We are seeking a candidate with the right blend of customer service and leadership skills, who will set examples and procedures for our customer service team, driving our Award-Winning Springhill Suites to continued success. We’re in search of someone that will provide exceptional service, so every guest who stays with us becomes a repeat customer. You’ll be the face of the operation and the first person guests see when they come through the doors. You’ll be responsible for supervising staff, interacting with guests, resolving issues, improving processes, and ensuring our high standards for customer satisfaction are met. Responsibilities: • Gather financial information and generate occupancy reports for the general manager • Lead operations at the front desk and make sure guests have an exceptional stay • Supervise current front desk staff and hire and train new staff to make sure they’re providing excellent customer service and implementing hotel policies • Handle the front desk budget and order office supplies as needed • Interact with customers both in-person and over the phone, assist with inquiries, and mitigate any guest complaints Qualifications: • Experience with MS office and bookkeeping skills desired • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Possess excellent management skills, communication skills, and multitasking skills • 1 year of previous experience working in the hospitality industry • 2 or more years of experience as a front desk supervisor or related office management position in the hospitality industry Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
