Position Summary:
Ensures that pertinent information for potential/existing participant information is accurately entered in Apptivo, Careport, TruChart, NextGen, Epic and other related systems. Under the direct supervision of the PACE Enrollment Supervisor, the PACE Data Entry Clerk is responsible for performing daily clerical and administrative tasks to support daily business operations of the PACE Enrollment Department.
Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Ability to handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Responsible for collecting, editing, scanning, organizing, and filing electronic and paper documents.
  • Data entry into multiple databases- Apptivo, Careport, NextGen, TruChart, Epic and other related systems.
  • Efficient filing and organizational skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to create reporting to track errors.
  • Ensure accuracy in all data, correspondence, and uploads onto the databases.
  • Maintain sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Operating office machinery, including photocopiers, scanners, telephone voicemail systems, email correspondence, and computers.

Job Requirements:
Education required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Experience Required:
  • Proven work experience in a role that demands strong administrative skills.
Experience Preferred:
  • One year of Medi-Cal, Medicare, managed health care eligibility or senior related sales. Working with the frail or elderly population is a plus.
Verbal and Written Skills to Perform the Job:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and comfortably in public forums.
  • Prepares concise and clear reports on marketing and outreach.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Technical Knowledge and Skills to Perform the Job:
  • Great knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
  • Computer data entry, analysis and reporting experience is required.
  • Knowledge of electronic health data systems including NextGen & Epic is preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Office setting; prolonged sitting position, walking, filing, occasional lifting of supplies or document boxes. May require weekend and holidays to be worked.
Universal Requirements:
  • Pre-employment requirements include I-9, physical, positive background and reference check results, complete application, new hire orientation, pre-employment PPDs.
