As the Director of Sales/VP of Sales you will be overseeing 10+ sales reps in multiple states, ensuring they are meeting performance metrics, providing ongoing training and development of the sales team to offer growth into other positions within. You will assist in market research to identify new markets, have selling responsibilities that target larger accounts; attend meetings with sales reps, assist in securing contracts and be instrumental in growing the company to $500 million in the next 5 years. This person reports directly to the CEO. Your selling component would be 10% first year, 8.5% year 2 and 2.7% year 3 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- 10+ direct reports immediately
- Hire, train, and develop sales reps in new and existing markets
- Drive results for the team
- Up to 80% travel commitment
- Bring in new business targeting larger accounts
- Organization of territories and metrics
- Service the Light Industrial industry - forklift, material handler, PP
- Market research to identify new markets to launch
- Meet with C-suite decision makers to have high level conversations as it relates to contingent staffing needs.
- Ongoing training for sales reps
Salary + commission 1st year OTE: up to $350k
