Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry? One of our top clients is seeking a dedicated and innovative leader to oversee the nursing operations of our skilled nursing facility and post-acute facility in California.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Provide direct oversight and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor and improve patient care outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including but not limited to CMS, OSHA, and CLIA.
- Staff Development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a highly skilled and motivated nursing team.
- Patient Care: Promote a patient-centered culture and ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the nursing department budget.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a skilled nursing facility or post-acute facility.
- Licensure: Current California RN license.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
