They are responsible for developing collaborative partnerships with local organizations, agencies, and schools that the company can work with and support in a philanthropic way. They are a liaison between the company and the community. The Community Outreach Coordinator will represent the company at various community sponsored events as well as our own. They will be required to work cross functionally with other departments and will work hand in hand with our Creative Director.Job ResponsibilitiesIn addition to following company policies and procedures, main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Initiate relationships within the community, especially with local schools and find creative ways to help fundraiseWork independently, be inventive and creative, including but not limited to initiating new relationships and programsRepresent the company at community meetings, forums, and public eventsDeliver presentations, speeches, or workshops to educate and engage community members on relevant topicsCreate written and visual content for outreach materials (e.g., factsheets, emails, website or social media content)Develop and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and social media content to raise awareness about the organization's programs and events within the communityGather feedback, opinions, and data from community members to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts and identify areas for improvement.
