You will provide
advanced data and analytical support to UCLA Health System. Your
responsibilities will include:

  1. Development and management of databases that support efficient workflow and adhere to the specifications of regulatory agencies.
  2. Provides data support to data-driven performance improvement projects within UCLA Health system.
  3. Prepare reports and Tableau dashboards and presents findings to health system leaders and teams.
  4. Manage data-driven projects and assists with the identification of critical issues and development of solutions using the PDCA and Lean methodologies.
  5. Work effectively with minimum supervision as part of a team and work productively with the department staff while assuring the maximum use of technology to promote efficient work systems.

Schedule: Fixed Hybrid

Annual Salary Range:
$83,800.00 - $179,400.00

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  1. BS degree in statistics, Business, computer science, mathematics, or quantitative analysis related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Advance skill in Python, Tableau, SQL, R, Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint.
  3. Have 2+ experience in Clinical Data Analytics, Statistics, and Quality Measures.
  4. Have 3+ experience in advance analytical and quantitative skills.
  5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  6. Project management skills.
  7. Excellent understanding of the industry-specific issues, regulatory requirements, and current healthcare industry.
  8. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment.
  9. Ability to think outside-the-box and be creative to accomplish departmental goals.
  10. Ability to prioritize work and remain detail oriented.
  11. Ability to lead System wide complex projects.
  12. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED:

  1. MBA or MS in quantitative analytical fields.
  2. 3+ year in Python, SQL, and Tableau experience.
  3. 3+ year experience in healthcare industry.
  4. 1+ year experience in data science (AI/ML), data management and data analysis.
  5. 1+ year experience in project management.
