Responsibilities
Pediatrix has an amazing career opportunity for an experienced neonatologist-medical director to lead our brand-new practice at Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center in Cartersville, GA. Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center is a 119-bed Hospital, Level lll Trauma Center located just 45 minutes North of downtown Atlanta. Named Healthgrades Top 250 Best Hospitals in the country list, 2022 and 2023.
Leadership Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing the practice and collaborating with hospital administration and our regional management team.
- Fostering growth and mentorship to fellow team members; taking on leadership roles within the hospital and community.
- Providing care for Level ll NICU babies.
- Delivery attendance (high risk and c-sections).
- Coverage for unattended well babies in the 12-bed newborn nursery.
- Rounding in-house during the day with Call responsibilities from home at night.
