Engineering Specialist - Security Clearance Required

LMI is seeking applicants for an engineering specialist position.

LMI is a consultancy dedicated to improving the business of government, drawing from deep expertise in advanced analytics, digital services, logistics, and management advisory services. This position will be providing direct client support within various client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services, technical analysis, project management and cost estimating
• Oversee operations, maintenance, repair, and construction work
• Coordinate with trade shops, prioritize work, and inspect installed equipment
• Develop cost estimates, documents, and reports
• Coordinate energy program and analyze utility costs
• Provide after hours engineering services in the event of an emergency
• Manage project design and/or construction efforts, including schedule and funding
• Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel
• Evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests
• Assist with acquisition planning, execution, and administration
• Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets
• Conduct design reviews with the customer
• Ensure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into project management tool
• Ensure integration of all systems, including information technology, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Prepare Contractor Performance Report upon contract closeout

Qualifications

• Master Tradesman in applicable field
• Twenty (20) years of experience in the applicable field
• Ten (10) years specialized experience in the assigned field
• This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
