Diversity Talent Acquisition Senior Manager

Do you want to play an instrumental role in BCG's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda? We are looking for a Senior Manager who will play a primary role in shaping the strategy and managing projects/programs that progress our overall DEI talent attraction strategy. You will work closely with the North America (NAMR) Talent Acquisition leadership, NAMR DEI leadership, Talent Acquisition Office MDP Leads (RPs), Diversity Affinity Network MDP Leads, and fellow Talent Acquisition colleagues to grow our culture of inclusion and support our diverse workforce to thrive. In this critical position, you will work closely with key stakeholders, leverage your analytics and strategy expertise to evaluate and innovate programs, partnerships and tactics to support BCG's hiring and attract top talent. You will partner with senior Talent Acquisition and business leadership to implement and activate the strategy, and embed principles of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our talent acquisition processes.

The right candidate will be a sharp problem-solver with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience crafting and implementing data-driven strategy, and an ability to manage across priorities for senior stakeholders. They will have a strong sense of ownership and an ability to apply knowledge of best practices across race/ethnicity, gender/gender identity, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, religion/spirituality, and other dimensions of identity to increase inclusion at BCG.

In this role you will:

  1. Leverage analytics and strategic capabilities to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve diversity, equity and inclusion at each step of the recruiting journey - from marketing and outreach to programs to screening and interviewing to hiring.
  2. Innovate and evolve BCG's suite of programs and partnerships to build a comprehensive and effective strategy to strengthen BCG's approach to recruiting a diverse candidate pool.
  3. Partner closely with other members of the Diversity Talent Acquisition and broader North American Talent Acquisition teams to translate a talent acquisition strategy and vision into action and impact.
  4. Engage key stakeholders and senior leaders from BCG's People Team and diversity networks - , , Black+ , , , and - to help lead, drive and support the DE&I Talent Acquisition agenda.
  5. Lead and contribute to special projects and work groups to drive BCG's DE&I and Talent aspirations.
  6. Collaborate with talent acquisition marketing colleagues to develop creative ways to communicate BCG's distinctive employer value proposition to targeted diverse talent communities.

YOU'RE GOOD AT:

  1. Developing a comprehensive strategy: Utilizing advanced strategic and analytical skills, deep understanding of target talent segments, and a strong foundation in talent acquisition to identify the areas of greatest opportunity and set a roadmap to meet future growth aspirations.
  2. Engaging senior leaders and stakeholders across BCG, with skills in effective communication, persuasion and influence; Working collaboratively with colleagues in a highly supportive and non-hierarchical environment; Modelling inclusive leadership and allyship in action and communication.
  3. Innovating and developing creative ideas to strengthen BCG's competitive position as the employer of choice for top talent; Monitoring the competitive environment.
  4. Collecting and analyzing information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):

  1. Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Talent Acquisition, DEI, strategy consulting, program management, or other people-related functions.
  3. Deep analytical capabilities with an ability to translate quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable plans.
  4. Functional expertise in Talent Acquisition, including a demonstrated interest in DE&I.
  5. Demonstrated ability to innovate and lead change initiatives.
  6. Strong sense of ownership and experience proactively taking initiative, collaboratively driving strategy, using good judgment to prioritize requests, and working with minimal direction.
  7. Expert organizational and process management skills; Comfort managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment.
  8. Experience engaging and partnering with senior executives; Comfort engaging with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  9. Outstanding written and verbal communications, influence and persuasion.
  10. Experience with DEI best practices and demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness.
  11. Excellent judgment and professionalism, particularly when dealing with complex topics and sensitive personal and firm DEI data.

YOU'LL WORK WITH:

You will report directly to the North America Director for Talent Acquisition, working closely with the North America Executive Director for Talent Acquisition, Managing Director & Partner for Talent Acquisition, and the Managing Director & Partner for Diversity Talent Acquisition. You will collaborate with the leaders of Campus TA, Experienced and Digital TA, TA Central Operations & Analytics, TA Local Office Operations and TA Marketing to drive BCG's overall Talent Acquisition agenda and operations. You will engage key leaders and stakeholders in BCG's Diversity Council, and BCG's Diversity Networks: , , Black+ , , , and
